TOWN OF STANDISH
PUBLIC NOTICE
At the January 10, 2012 meeting of the Standish Town Council Public Hearings on the following items will be held:
125-11 Amendment to Standish Town Code, Chapter 187, Licenses and Permits, § 187-24.B, Mass Gatherings, Definitions [Blanck]
This amendment is as follows and becomes effective immediately, if ratified:
(8) Exempt Events
This Ordinance shall not apply to mass gatherings as defined herein that are organized, conducted, sponsored and/or authorized by public educational institutions located within the Town of Standish and held on the on the grounds thereof.~ No application or approval shall be required, however, the sponsor shall provide notification to the Town Clerk at least sixty (60) days in advance of the event regarding the scheduling of the same and proof of its sponsorship and/or authorization from an appropriate public education institution.
Application submitted by Gerard Giguere and Patricia Giguere dba Giguere’s Wildwood Function Center for renewal of a Bottle Club located at 945 Pequawket Trail
The meeting will be held at the Standish Municipal Center beginning at 7:00 PM.
