Boards/Committees
Appointed Boards/Committees
The are several boards/committees that need community members to serve on them. To qualify for a board/committee membership you must be a registered voter. Residents should contact the Town Clerk for more information on open committee positions.
Elected Boards/Committees
Budget Committee, Town Council, Planning Board, and SAD # 6 Board of Directors are elected positions; to qualify for these seats you must be a registered voter and circulate nomination papers to get your name on the June municipal election ballot. Nomination papers are available from mid-march through the end of April; you can obtain nomination papers at the Town Clerk's Office.

Recreation Program
Volunteers are also vital to the Recreation program and the department is always in need of a helping hand. If you are interested in helping out with a specific recreation event or program, or just have an hour or two here and there, they have a project for you. Follow this link for details.
