SPECIAL TOWN COUNCIL MEETING
STANDISH, MAINE
TUESDAY, JANUARY 27, 2004 - MUNICIPAL CENTER
AFTER THE CLOSE OF THE WORKSHOP WHICH BEGINS AT 7:00 PM
CALL TO ORDER
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
The meeting was called to order by Chair Simpson.
Councilors present: Christy, Hopkins, Nesbitt, Simpson and Spencer. Councilors Lymburner and Pomerleau were excused.
Chair Simpson explained that there would be two Executive Sessions one for a real estate matter which the Council will come out of and action will be taken. The other involves a personnel matter and no action will be taken in that Executive Session.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Moved by Spencer Seconded by Nesbitt to move into Executive Session for the discussion of a real estate matter. (Unanimous)
Moved Seconded and Voted to arise from Executive Session. The Council arose from Executive Session by unanimous consent and took action on the following item.
NEW BUSINESS
Moved by Hopkins Seconded by Spencer to accept a substitute order. (Unanimous)
VOTE: 5 Yeas – 0 Nays.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Moved by Spencer Seconded by Nesbitt to move into Executive Session for the discussion of a personnel matter. (Unanimous)
Moved Seconded and Voted to arise from Executive Session. The Council arose from Executive Session by unanimous consent. The meeting adjourned 10:15 pm by unanimous consent.
