SPECIAL TOWN COUNCIL MEETING
STANDISH, MAINE
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2004 - MUNICIPAL CENTER 7:00 PM
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM. Councilor Simpson led in the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL
Councilor's present: Christy, Hopkins, Nesbitt, Pomerleau, Simpson and Spencer. Councilor Lymburner was excused.
EXECUTIVE SESSION (S)
A motion was made to go into executive session to discus a real estate matter. The Council rose from executive session at 7:45 PM.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
165-04 Authorize Town Manager to Take Action Regarding Chadbourne’s Landing [Hopkins]
Councilor Hopkins introduced an amendment to notify PWD that Standish will retain rights to the property, to provide PWD with an easement for the storm drain located on the westerly side of the property, to require PWD to move the chain link fence on the east side of the landing back to their property line approximately 12,’ to require PWD to move the existing rocks to the “water side” of the fence ensuring they are not higher than the fence and for PWD to ensure that there is “walking access” to the shore. Councilor Nesbitt seconded the amendment.
There were no public comments nor any further Council comments on the order. The Order passed on an affirmative vote of six members with one member absent.

Councilor Simpson moved to adjourn, second by Councilor Hopkins. There were six affirmative votes. The meeting adjourned at 8:00 PM.
