Household Hazardous Waste Disposal
Calls are occasionally received from residents inquiring as to where they can dispose of household hazardous waste (HHW). The Town may, from time to time, sponsor a HHW day at the Transfer Station. The following vendors are also available as alternatives for residents to dispose of HHW. The hours and days vary so it is recommended that you call the facility first so as to not make an unnecessary trip and to also determine what, if any, fees are charged for the disposal.

You may also check the following website: www.envdepot.com for a new facility in Lewiston, at 424 River Road, which also takes household hazardous waste two Saturday's a month. The website will give you directions and further information on times, days, etc.
