The EMS Division provides unconditional Emergency Medical Services to the Towns of Standish and Baldwin as well as our surrounding communities. Operating two front line ambulances, a spare ambulance, and a fly car with both call company and per-diem staff. Our staff consists of 5 licensed First Responders, 16 EMT-Basics, 7 A-EMT's and 20 Paramedics. There are 4 full time Paramedics on duty 24 hours, 7 days a week. There are per-diem shifts as well. Current crew sizes are from 3 up to 5.
Rescue 1 is stationed at the Steep Falls Fire Barn, District 3 and covers District 3 and Baldwin. It is covers any back up calls that are needed and will respond to our neighboring towns if needed.
Rescue 2 is stationed at Central Station on Northeast Rd. and covers Districts 1, 2 and 4 as well as any back up calls that are needed and will respond to our neighboring towns if needed.
Rescue 3 is the back-up rescue if needed.
