All ATV/Snowmobile registrations expire June 30 of each year.  ATV/Snowmobile re-registrations can be processed online.

ATV/Snowmobile Registration – Renewals

Bring in your most recent ATV/Snowmobile registration to the town office when renewing your registration(s).

ATV/Snowmobile Registration – New

Private sale -To register an ATV/Snowmobile Registration purchased through a private sale for the first time, you will need to bring in a bill of sale (the bill of sale should include the sellers name and address, the buyers name and address, the serial #, a description of the ATV/Snowmobile (make, model and year) and the purchase price. A 5.5% Maine sales tax will be collected based on the purchase price on the bill of sale. 

Dealer sale - To register an ATV/Snowmobile purchased through a dealer for the first time, you will need to bring in a receipt or bill of sale from the dealer, indicating sales tax that was paid.
