MDT Public Meeting
Event Date:
Thursday, March 31, 2022 - 6:00pm

MaineDOT will host a live presentation followed by a Question-and-Answer period to discuss the ongoing efforts of Mountain Division Rail Use Advisory Council (Council). The purpose of the Council is to facilitate discussion, gather information and provide advice to the MaineDOT commissioner regarding future use of the rail corridor epecially as it relates to the Mountain Divison Trail . The corridor council process was established (23 MRSA §75) by the Maine State Legislature in 2021.

The meeting will give the public an opportunity to provide input to the Council regarding the future use of the Mountain Division rail line from Standish to Fryeburg.  We are particularly interested in learning local and regional views and identifying concerns and issues. Anyone with interest is asked to join MaineDOT for a live Zoom meeting on March 31st, 2022 from 6:00 to 7:30pm.

This will be a virtual meeting. Zoom link is here: https://mainestate.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZIvd--orTMpGtaQPgj1T2hoyWQg...
