Standish Community Resilience Partnership

The Town of Standish is working enrolling in the State of Maine’s “Community Resilience Partnership,” which will make the Town eligible for funding for projects that meet objectives included in the State climate action plan. The State is now working to implement the recommendations in the plan. Once enrolled, Standish is eligible to apply for grants of up to $50,000 each project per round of funding.

One of the requirements for joining the Community Resilience Partnership is holding a community workshop to help identify eligible projects. The Town will hold this workshop on April 11, 2023 in the Council Chambers at Town Hall from 4:30 to 5:30. Initially, the town hopes to apply and use $ from this program to complete energy efficient upgrades at municipal buildings, but there will be more rounds of grants from this program in the future.
